RF Jammers Consciously Block Wireless Jammers

This is an era of technology and wireless communications. And RF Jammers is such a device with the help of which you can consciously hinder, jam or block wireless communication network. In many countries use of jammers is banned and large fines are imposed on the guilty. Transmission of the radio signals is important for the working of jammers because radio signals interrupt the communication. Signal to noise ratio is decreased by the radio signals and hence help jammers to block or jam wireless communication network.

If blockage of wireless communication network occurs because of any accidental circumstances or problem in device then, it is not counted under jamming. Sometimes it happens that device itself starts radiating signals. Cell phones ustilise base stations or cellular towers and communicate with service network to work properly. An individual tower is divided into small cells based on different cities. When a cell phone user traverses the cells of a particular area then, the signal keeps on passing from tower to tower.

Components of Jammer

RF Jammers are very simple devices. The simplest jammer has only on/off switch along with a LED showing that power is supplied to the unit. Complex jammers contain dials and switches allowing user to choose frequency which they want for jamming. Components present in jammer are:

Antenna: This is significantly the most important part of jammer as it will transmit the signals which will further interrupt wireless communication network. There are many jammers which contain an internal antenna and some also contain external antenna. External antenna can broadcast the signal to a longer range than the internal antenna and also holds a greater control over frequency.

RF amplification (gain stage): The power given to the tuning circuits is controlled by RF amplification. This device is responsible for boosting or decreasing the power as per requirement to block signals.

Tuning circuit: It is such a component which will enable user to tune in the frequency. On the other hand broadcast frequency of the circuits is being controlled by the tuning circuits present in the device. This is done by sending a particular voltage to the oscillator.

Voltage-controlled oscillator: With the help of this component voltage is controlled and is also known as generator of competing radio signal.

Noise generator: The noise generator is a part of the tuning circuit. Its main function is to create electric output within a particular frequency range that is used to interrupt a wireless communication network signal.

Power Supply: batteries are used in smaller jamming devices on the other hand powerful jammers are plugged in to an outer power source. Sometimes big jammers are also connected with any vehicle’s electrical system.

Originally jammers were developed for military and law enforcement because with the help of this device the communication signals of terrorists and criminals can be easily disrupted. The best use of jammers is that it can prevent such bombs from exploding which are activated by cell phones. But these days jammers are used in many sectors depending on their needs.
