Remote security systems are great for when you are away from your home or business, ensuring you can keep your property in view and keep you alerted of any trouble if it arises; most remote systems are accessible via a secure app on your mobile device and you can receive text messages or emails to alert you.

If you have an IR camera, or a CCTV camera set up in or around your home or business, you may be able to get a live feed sent directly to your phone after being prompted to log on by an alert sent to your devices; or a still image sent via text of an intruder that you can send directly to the police if need be.

It might be best to call the police first and then make your way back home, or head out to check your business premises after an alert; if you have some good CCTV equipment that is carefully concealed and set up correctly, you may be able to record their faces on video, or capture an image of them via the IR camera.
