DVR’s store images on hard drives, like hard drives in computers and benefit from:

- Larger amounts of images can be stored compared to VHS tape
- No tapes to change so reduces tape management
- Faster image reviewing, by date, time or motion detected events
- Video clips can be exported and written to CD-ROM for permanent archiving

The new generation of day/night cameras are ideal for external applications as they are designed to provide a colour image in good lighting conditions but automatically switch to the black & white mode to give a superior image in low light conditions.

We even have IR cameras which see in the dark with the aid of built in LED’s that emit a virtually invisible light to the human eye but acts as a torch to the camera.

Dome cameras are quickly becoming the preferred camera of choice in all applications as they can be more discreet then conventional cameras and their dome housing provides protection from the camera being tampered with.

Cameras can also be mounted in vandal resistant dome housings for external use or when installed in harsh environments
